Past Due
So I'm 40 weeks 3 days pregnant. Still waiting for this baby to come.... I must have stubborn babies, or a very comfy womb. I actually drank Castor Oil this morning (YUCK, YUCK, YUCK)... Dr's orders. It did it's original job of being a laxative, but failed in the induction department so far. :)

Baby Girl update
The heartburn has begun! Uggghhhh!
She is currently bouncing around in there... like I'm popping popcorn or something! My whole stomach is bouncing around.
I was much happier during my first pregnancy when I didn't know the consequences of gaining so much weight. Fat and happy. This time I'm just fat and annoyed... but I can't stop making Lauren's chocolate chip cookies!
32 weeks tomorrow. I have a Dr appt in the afternoon. Call me crazy, but I love going to my dr appts and I'm excited that they are becoming more frequent. It's mandatory "me" time to sit and read a magazine. I love it... even though I'm sitting on butcher paper the whole time.

Think Pink!

Well, today was the big day! We went to our ultrasound appointment, only to find out that they never actually scheduled me, so we had to wait for 1 1/2 hours to be seen. Then half-way thru the ultrasound, the computer froze, so they had to start all over. The ultrasound tech measured everything, then said "Well, I think we're about done." What? What about the sex of the baby? So she checked, and.....
It's a GIRL!!!!
I am having a hard time getting adjusted to the fact that I am having a girl. I have been calling it a boy, and hoping for a boy (to share a room and hand-me-downs), and thinking only of boy names. She was opening her mouth a lot (the tech said she's a talker) and moving around a lot (at the beginning of the ultrasound she was breech and after they rebooted the computer she had her head down).
So now on to figuring out what to name her. We have been thinking of naming her Lillian after my grandmother, and we would just call her Lil. Some other names I like are: Olive (Ollie), Audrey, Adele or Adalyn (Adie). Any comments or suggestions are welcome!
