I like money

Lil: Grammy, do you have any money? I like money.
Grammy: You know money is the root of all evil.
Lil: WHAT?!?
Grammy: Money is the root of all evil.
Lil: My dolly doesn't like evil. She is scared of it. BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop

Xander's Dream

I was 4 and 3/4. I wasn't an angry bird, but I was chasing real angry bird piggies. All I could find was the cheese factory with some cheese-people making cheese. I could only find a little bit of piggies. I went to the piggie factory and that's where I found a little bit of piggies. I found a mustache piggy, or mustache cheese-person. My mommy and Lil went to a fun park and we ate our gogurts, and I went to go play, and when I got out it turned into a water park. We didn't have our swimming suits so we couldn't go in. And we went in and just watched the kids play on the edge.

Huh?

Xander was so excited to be Peter Pan (ever since he saw the play in NH this summer) and Lil was the perfect tinkerbell with her little pixie face. She kept singing "We tan fly, we tan fly, we tan fly, we tan fly..."

Who did he learn that from?

Xander is a sneaky little devil when it comes to getting what he wants. Here is a little example from our FHE to "Scoops" (my new favorite ice cream joint... it just might become my addiction this summer).

Xander was insistent on getting mint ice cream. Brian got cake batter swirl in a cone in a cup, and asked if Xander wanted to share but Xander only wanted mint. When they got their ice creams, and Xander tried a little of Brian's, the conversation went a little something like this:

Xander:(holding Brian's cone) Ooh! That's good. I wish I got the cake batter cake.
Brian: Well, would you like to share a little of mine?
Xander: How about you can eat my ice cream, and I will just eat this one.
Brian: Uh... no. You said you wanted mint ice cream, and I don't like mint.
Xander: How about I eat the cone and you have the cup. (the cup had about one more bite of ice cream in it)

So Brian suggested a flavor for them to share, but Xander had his mind set on a different flavor, then decided that he liked Brian's better, and tried to finagle his way into trading. Who does that sound like? cough*Kelley*cough

Otay

Lil's new favorite word is ok... pronounced O-tay. She has become very obedient over the last few days, since she is looking for any reason to use this word.

Update: Lil climbed into Xander's bed tonight and I told them they could sleep together if they were quiet and went to sleep... well, Xander ended up kicking her out of his bed because she kept saying "Otay" over and over again, and it was driving him crazy. Brian went in to tell her she had to get back in her crib... she said "Otay" and went willingly. :)
