Brian's mom came to town to see her new little grand-baby. We had a fun-filled 4 days. First, we went to the Philadelphia Zoo. It was so fun. Xander loved the reptile house. We could've spent all day in there. Other than that, he was pretty much just interested in the water fountains. It was my first day out walking around a lot, so we didn't stay very long, due to my aching guts.

FIRE!
These aren't the best pictures, but... on the same night as the Conshi fire, we had some excitement here too. Xander just went to bed, and Brian noticed that something smelled like "fireworks". Then we heard a faint beeping. We thought it was one of our electronics beeping, so Brian went to go find the source. He went out onto the back deck and looked down, and smoke was pouring out of the apt below ours. The guy's stove had caught on fire. The fire dept came and put it out, but in the process, our apt got kinda smokey. We ended up out on the steps of the neighbors apts in our jammies, and then over to the Sperry's while our apt cleared out.

Kelsi in Amish Country
Aunt Kelsi came to visit and we had a great time. On Monday, we went to Amish Country.
Kelsi at the pool
On Tuesday, we went to the pool. It was Lil's 1st time wearing her bathing suit & going to the pool.
At the pool, Lil did this.
Xander did this...
...and this (It's his birthday present from Aunt Kelsi. It's a basketball hoop for the pool, but Xander wouldn't keep it in the pool. He only wanted to play with it out of the pool.)
And I did this. (I've got my ankles back! I'm still working on my thighs...)

Xander-man
He got in trouble for this next outfit. The hat is actually the filter for his humidifier. If you can see, it is cracked down one side and is now broken. Buddy was in charge and didn't know that's what he was wearing on his head. Xander came running out to show me his funny outfit; I scolded him, "Xander!"; and he ran right back in his room crying. I felt bad. It really was a funny outfit.

Coming Home
We came home on Thursday morning. This picture is for you, Grandma Ivory... Thanks for the cute outfit. The hat is the one she got from the hospital. Cute, huh?
Daddy made these nice signs to welcome us home. There were also flowers. What a good hubby and daddy! It was also nice to come home to a clean house stocked with yummy food... Thank you Mom and Brian!

Xander LOVES his baby sister! The first thing he says when we wakes up in the morning is "I see my baby sister!" He says how cute she is. He always wants to touch her cheek (he gives it a gentle pinch) and give her kisses, and talks to her in his high, baby-talk voice. He is such a good big brother.
